Jelisa Lowe, MPA
Jelisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University. She brings a diverse background of work from corporate, nonprofit, agency and educational settings with experience in producing both internal and external communications materials. Her work has focused on writing, media relations, social media and strategic communications planning. Jelisa served as the global public affairs and communications intern for The Coca-Cola Company before joining the Task Force and has held additional communications positions with other leading organizations including the American Red Cross, Georgia Aquarium, Edelman and Silverpop Systems, a digital marketing company. She also served as a contributing writer for the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies’ website and bi-monthly magazine while completing her master’s degree. Jelisa is active in her community, giving back to the youth through motivational speaking and serving as a mentor and tutor.
