Our Approach
Our core tenet is collaboration. We have a history of achieving consensus among stakeholders and finding common solutions. PHII brings together public health practitioners to collaboratively design tools and guides, and works with partners to assist in disseminating these tools.
We solve problems first. We examine the information problem a system will solve, rather than focusing on technology first. See our guiding principles for effective health information systems.
We use best practices to keep projects on time and within scope. We start every project by engaging the relevant stakeholders and working with them to develop a project charter. This charter defines the project scope (including main activities and deliverables), as well as outlines roles and responsibilities for each participant. Our skilled project managers create project plans and monitor progress throughout project, identifying and mitigating potential risks, notifying leadership of potential issues, and being responsive to changing customer needs.
